Page’s signature piece is the sapphire signet ring
Our signet rings are truly special pieces, each one custom made to fit the particular stone that is chosen. This is one of our most popular styles, and it's easy to see why. Sapphires are a durable and beautiful stone that comes in a rainbow of vibrant colors, making them perfect for this style of ring. We also occasionally make these rings with Rubies, Emeralds, or Diamonds.
The stones used in this style are freeform rose cuts, which means that the shape of each stone is unique. However, they all have a low profile so that the finished ring can sit flat to the finger, making them comfortable to wear.
Our process for creating these handmade rings is truly artisanal. We start by carving the wax and actually melting the stone into the wax to create a perfect seat for the stone. We then take the sapphire out and cast the wax in 18k gold. Once we have the gold casting, we set the stone back into the carved seat. Finally, we gently polish and finish the ring to accentuate our unique brushstroke texture.
With each signet ring being completely custom made, you can be sure that you're getting a truly one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Each piece is made in our Brooklyn Jewelry store.
